Courtesy of Love As Fiction Records, Bluebottle Kiss’ Revenge Is Slow finally gets its first vinyl pressing, giving new life to one of the great overlooked Australian guitar records of the early 2000s.

Originally released in 2002, the Sydney band’s fourth album found Jamie Hutchings and company at their most expansive, pulling melodic indie rock, experimental art-rock, baroque pop and bruised psychedelia into something restless, literary and strangely beautiful.

Featuring ‘Father’s Hands’, ‘Ounce of Your Cruelty’ and ‘Gangsterland’, Revenge Is Slow remains a rich, adventurous and deeply rewarding listen from a band that never quite fit the easy categories.

This deluxe 2LP edition has been remastered from the original tapes and expanded with five bonus tracks, housed in a gatefold sleeve with restored artwork and lyric insert.
