Regrind vinyl is created by repurposing PVC material that would otherwise be discarded, resulting in unique colour variations from pressing to pressing.
 
There’s something quietly beautiful about the way Big Scary operate these days. No grand reinvention. No dramatic comeback narrative. Just Tom Iansek and Jo Syme returning to the simple idea at the heart of it all: music made together. Wing feels like the natural culmination of that rediscovery, the final piece in a trilogy that began with Daisy and Me and You; three records stitched together by love, doubt, intimacy and growth. 
 
Following a period apart where both artists explored other projects and creative identities, Big Scary re-emerged with a renewed sense of collaboration. Recorded entirely by the duo in their BellBird studio in Collingwood, Wing continues the warmth and spaciousness of its predecessors while allowing ideas to breathe a little longer. There’s a subtle cynicism woven through parts of the album, moments where love is examined against reality rather than fantasy, but hope never disappears from view. Big Scary still make music that feels deeply human: tender without becoming saccharine, thoughtful without losing melody.
 
Sonically, Wing stretches and lingers in all the right places. Gentle grooves, soft-focus electronics, hushed reflections and patient songwriting combine into something that feels weightless yet emotionally grounded. The title itself says it all really: support, balance, movement, flight. A final limb completing the body of work.
