It expands on the bruised beauty of 2023’s Everything’s Fine, but feels warmer, looser and more playful in the pocket, built around liquid basslines, hushed introspection, vintage grooves and that unmistakable Corby falsetto.
From the psych-soul shimmer of ‘King of Denial’ and the elegant ache of ‘Know It All’ to the rolling pulse of ‘Burn It Down’ and the tender glow of ‘Maggie’, this is Corby continuing to follow instinct over fashion, making music that feels lived-in, beautifully played and quietly timeless.
