After shelving a series of Los Angeles recording sessions that felt too polished, Vandal returned home to rebuild the album alongside longtime collaborator Richie Buxton. Recorded over two years in bedrooms and small apartments, deliberately disconnected from the constant noise of the online world, the result is an uncompromising statement of artistic independence. Heavy guitars collide with explosive beats, soulful melodies emerge from moments of chaos, and Vandal's extraordinary vocal range holds everything together.
