Originally released in 2021, Love Signs marked a major glow-up for Brisbane indie heroes The Jungle Giants — a sleek, self-produced burst of technicolour pop confidence pressed here on Neon Pink Vinyl.
Written, produced, and performed entirely by Sam Hales, the record solidified the band’s shift from indie rock to full-blown dance-floor euphoria, spinning out a run of anthems including ‘Heavy Hearted’, ‘Sending Me Ur Loving’, ‘In Her Eyes’, and ‘Treat You Right’.
Hales described the process as “really self-affirming,” and it showed — Love Signs went on to earn ARIA nominations, platinum singles, and back-to-back Top 10s in triple j’s Hottest 100.
Four years on, it still sounds like joy bottled — pure, radiant, and ready to move you.
