Waxx Selects...

Originally released in 1999, Kaleidoscope is the debut album that introduced Kelis as a singular force in late-90s pop and R&B. Produced almost entirely by The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo), the record arrived sounding unlike anything else at the time: sharp, futuristic, playful, and confrontational. Anchored by the breakout single ‘Caught Out There’ (with the immortal refrain: "I hate you so much right now!") Kelis flipped the script on pop femininity, attitude, and voice, announcing herself fully formed and impossible to ignore.

This 25th Anniversary edition is pressed on green vinyl, marking a quarter-century since a debut that helped reshape the sound of mainstream R&B and pop production at the turn of the millennium. A landmark release from both Kelis and The Neptunes, Kaleidoscope remains bold, strange, and thrilling — a record we hold close.
