Pearl Jam’s ‘rearviewmirror’ greatest hits album will be reissued on vinyl, as two separate 2-LP sets. The album was originally released as a 4-LP (and 2-CD) set back in 2004.
 
When this originally came out, CD was the dominant format and on the 2-CD version, each disc was devoted to a different side of the band's catalogue: the first disc, or "Up Side", contains heavier rock songs while the second disc or "Down Side" consists of slower songs and ballads.
 
This upcoming vinyl reissue mirrors the original CD breakdown, so Volume 1 is the “Up Side” and Volume 2 is the “Down Side”.
